FACULTY LIBRARY INSTRUCTION CLASS REQUEST FORM
THIS FORM IS FOR FACULTY WHO REQUIRE
LIBRARY RESEARCH OF THEIR STUDENTS
If your course requires library research of any kind, your students would probably benefit from a class period of library instruction.
The Reference Department regularly provides such service for instructors who request it. The class session can be geared specifically to your requirements and includes those reference tools you think would be most useful to your students.
If you would like to schedule an instruction period for your class:
- Complete the form below, using a separate form for each class and section, and submit. (Or, call Susan Kraat, Library Instruction Coordinator, at ext. 3705.)
- To help us prepare, send us your syllabus and a copy of your assignment. They may be either:
- Sent as an e-mail attachment to Susan Kraat,
- Sent via campus mail to Susan Kraat, Reference Department, Sojourner Truth Library, M44.
To help us better coordinate our teaching schedules, please make your appointment as soon as possible, but at least two weeks before the date you would like to bring your class. Instructors will be expected to accompany and remain with their classes during the session.
Classes will normally be held in either STL 18 (the Library Instruction Room located in the corridor between the Library and Lecture Center) or in LC 112.
