Find it @ New Paltz:
Finding full-text of an article using Find Full Text Help

(Click here for a printable version of this guide)

If the database in which you are searching does not have the full text of an article you would like, look for the Find Full Text Help button in the database's results list or article record to help you locate the article.

Click on the Find Full Text Help button and our Article Linker technology automatically searches for the article in other STL locations (i.e., other STL electronic databases, the library's catalog of print subscriptions, and STL's interlibrary loan resources).

Using Find Full Text Help in this way will produce one of three possible results:

1) The article is available electronically from another database:

If the Find Full Text Help search finds the article available in another database, it will show:

2) The article may be available in the STL print collection:

If the Find Full Text Help search finds the article is not available in another database but might be found if you check the library's online catalog, it will show:

3) The library does not subscribe to the journal that contains the article:

If the Find Full Text Help search finds that the article is unavailable in any of the library's periodical subscriptions but can be ordered using interlibrary loan (ILLiad), it will show:
