BOOK PURCHASE RECOMMENDATION FORM

The library encourages suggestions from the SUNY New Paltz community for book purchases. The major focus of the Collection Development Department is to acquire materials that support campus instructional and research needs or are otherwise deemed appropriate.

Please check The library catalog, under exact title before requesting book purchases. Use a separate form for each book requested.

Rather than requesting a specific title, you may also suggest a subject area that needs updating or additional resources. Please explain below in the "Additional Comments" box.

Requests for new journal subscriptions and electronic resources are placed sparingly because of budgetary constraints and should be sent directly to Gerlinde Barley, Collection Development Librarian, STL33.

*Items marked with an asterisk are required fields.

To submit multiple requests without having to re-key your personal information:
   1. Submit your first request.
   2. Click the Close link in the results window.
