Search Gale Virtual Reference Library, a collection of Reference E-books. Titles include some of the following: Animal Sciences, Beacham's Guide to the Endangered Species of North America, Biology, Grzimek's Animal Life Encyclopedia, and Encyclopedia of Science.

Birding resource from the Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology.

Animal Diversity Web:
This searchable database provides a wealth of information about thousands of animals.

Biosciences:
Metaindex to resources on Agriculture, Biotechnology, Botany, Entomology, Evolution, Genetics, Physiology, etc.

Global Amphibian Assessment (GAA):
The GAA is a comprehensive database of the nearly 6,000 known amphibian species, along with their conservation status.

Hort.net:
A horticultural resource developed and maintained by Mallorn Company, a company that specializes in horticultural web sites.

Human Genome Resources: 
Central access point to valuable resources for human genome research.  Maintained by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI).
