PRINTING

Every public station has three primary printers installed and our printers have a numbered sign on top, Printer 1, 2, or 3. You can choose between these printers at the top of the print dialog box in most programs. (To get the print dialog box in Microsoft Office don't click the print button, choose the print option from the file menu.)

The printers have strange looking names because of the network we are on. The printer number is actually in the middle of the name. They look like this:

  1. \\ACADCOMPUTING\LIBRARY_PRINTER1_NDPS.ACPQS.SUNYNP
  2. \\ACADCOMPUTING\LIBRARY_PRINTER2_NDPS.ACPQS.SUNYNP
  3. \\ACADCOMPUTING\LIBRARY_PRINTER3_NDPS.ACPQS.SUNYNP
